RAISEonline – groundbreaking online reports

Forvus Delivers

RAISEonline launched in 2006 and has established itself as the primary distribution channel supporting the new inspection process established by Ofsted, “New Relationship with Schools”.

This revolutionary web-based system is used to disseminate school performance data and

replaces the current Ofsted Performance and Assessment (PANDA) reports and the DCSF Pupil Achievement Tracker (PAT) database system.

As well as DCSF and Ofsted, RAISEonline is used by Head Teachers, teachers and administrative staff in 22,000 maintained schools, and 150 local authorities.

Users Prove System Success
RAISEonline provides individual schools with over 50 reports based on their Key Stage results, and pupil characteristics. Users can access reports individually or download the full report which replaces the original PANDA report. There have been over 1 million downloads in the last year alone, proving it to be a success with end users.

The system allows only school administrators to change data, such as adding and removing pupils, and changing grades. It also provides the ability for schools to carry out ‘what if’ scenarios and target testing (for example, calculating realistic Key Stage 2 targets for a particular cohort based on that cohort’s Key Stage 1 results). Analysis on individual examination results can be undertaken to determine what areas are particularly strong, and what areas need additional work.

Benefits Recognised
The benefits of RAISEonline are that it provides an integrated system which enables practically any report to be accessed interactively, through filtering and sorting. It also provides a centralized database, so that stakeholders no longer have to load their own data.
